Hey,

I'm Laura Lee.

The story behind LLB...

Photography isn't just a job for me but something I truly love. When I was 20 years old my husband and I moved to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where he was stationed in the Navy. Due to his long hours and very weird schedule, I took up photography as a hobby to basically just kill time. I started with just taking pictures of local wildlife and different aspects of the base but that quickly evolved into taking family photos of service members on the base. I absolutely loved it! When my husband was discharged after serving his time in the service, I brought my photography passion back with me, but it was hard to maintain that along with going to college full time. As school progressed, photography dwindled and I began a job in what I originally went to school for and that is a preschool teacher.

I was a preschool teacher up until I found out I was pregnant with my son Benjamin. Unfortunately, I had to leave my job due to me having an extremely hard pregnancy which prevented me from basically doing anything. And then covid hit... fast forward through those 2 years because they basically disappeared... I decided that I did not want to go back to being a teacher but instead re adopt my passion for photography since putting my camera down in 2016. I have combined my two passions, photography and children, to create a career in which I get the opportunity to capture the happiness of children and their families.

Meet my family: My husband Stephen and son Benjamin!
